The Challenge


During the Covid lockdown, Apptio needed a way to showcase its employees and help them feel a sense of unity, belonging, and shared purpose.

 

The Solution

I collaborated with the HR team to develop a campaign that allowed employees to share their unique voices, languages, and stories in short video interviews. We also developed a fun design that showcased employees’ unique handwriting.

 
 
 
 


Apptio employees from across the globe wrote the words “I am” in their native languages and handwriting. These submissions were edited together to create a unique expression of the diversity at Apptio.

 
 
 
 


A series of employee interviews were recorded to create a sense of community and connection during the long weeks of remote work.

 
 
 
 


The voices from the employee interview videos were edited together with the handwriting artwork to create an emotional video animation that was used in meetings and on social media.
